WHY I WROTE THIS BOOK
When I first decided to pursue purity in 2011, I had no idea where to start, I just knew I wanted to honor God. I struggled in the beginning, but I found healing through prayer, fasting, meditating on God's Word, and writing. I realized that in and of my own strength I was incapable of succeeding, but as I released my will for the Father's and allowed the Holy Spirit to guide me, I received the strength to remain focused and committed to my purity journey.

Erica N. Williams Benjamin is the founder of Journey to Purity®. After remaining abstinent for over 11 years until her marriage in May 2023, and overcoming the challenges of molestation and the loss of her dad as a young girl, she continues to stand strong in her faith. Erica's life mission is to sincerely demonstrate the redemptive, restorative, and healing power of Jesus by openly sharing her journey.
